Vice President Kamala Harris has not held a press conference on issues facing American families since she entered the presidential race 71 days ago.
Ms. Harris's attempts to evade and evade suggest that her record is a political liability. President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he has delegated “everything” to Harris as commander in chief, including foreign and domestic policy.
Harris has had numerous opportunities to hold press conferences. Thursday was no exception, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visiting Washington, DC. Without asking any questions, Harris stormed off the podium and directed Zelenskiy to leave the room.
Harris has only given five television interviews so far, but faced backlash for dodging questions and failing to offer solutions to ongoing problems under the Biden-Harris administration. “She's an advocate of a 'new way forward,' and she's still in office,” RealClearPolitics White House correspondent Philip Wegman told Fox News. “She now has access to power.”
Since entering the race in July, Harris has changed Her views are either completely reversed or in unclear positions in 12 areas.
- Decriminalization of prostitution (she refuses to say whether she still supports it)
