Kamala Harris Does Not Comment on Los Angeles Riots

Kamala Harris Remains Quiet Amid Los Angeles Unrest

Former Vice President Kamala Harris, who previously ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2024, has not commented on the recent professional migration issues or the anti-ICE riots occurring in Los Angeles.

Her last post on X was about Pride Month, celebrating community and courage, which seems quite far removed from the current situation.

Similarly, her recent Instagram and Facebook updates also focus on Pride-themed content from a couple of days ago.

As Harris remains silent, President Trump has issued a memorandum to deploy 2,000 National Guard members to Los Angeles to help manage the riots.

In light of this, California Governor Gavin Newsom expressed his frustration over the National Guard’s involvement, criticizing the Trump administration for inflaming the situation further.

The administration’s decision to federalize the National Guard came in response to rioters setting vehicles on fire and engaging in various violent actions, including throwing projectiles and vandalizing federal buildings.

On Friday, over 40 people were arrested as ICE agents conducted raids at various locations, including a Home Depot parking lot and several apparel offices.

Randy Clark from Breitbart News reported that customs sources suggested that enhanced teams of Border Patrol agents have been dispatched to address the ongoing riots.

Reports indicate that many of these agents are part of specialized units, ready to head to Los Angeles as needed over the coming days.

According to the New York Times, on Sunday, numerous protesters gathered outside of detention centers in Los Angeles, accompanied by both signs and a Mexican flag, amidst a heavy federal police presence.

Kash Patel, an FBI representative, cautioned protesters against assaulting law enforcement officers, asserting that such actions would lead to legal consequences.

“It doesn’t matter your background or beliefs,” he stated, implying that the law would be upheld firmly.
