Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign reportedly gave large sums of money to organizations run by members of the media in the weeks leading up to her interviews with members of the media.
FEC submissionsfirst reported by. washington free beaconshows the Harris campaign made two $250,000 donations to the Rev. Al Sharpton's nonprofit organization in September and October.
Harris had a friendly interview with an MSNBC host on Oct. 20, in which he asked her what she wanted her legacy to be 50 years from now.
Mr. Sharpton was not the only media associate whose organization received payments from his campaign in advance of the sit-down interview. this was a bomb statement New York Times report revealed.

The campaign also made a $350,000 payment to Nu Vision Media on September 9, according to . FEC submissions The Times first reported it.
Nu Vision Media is a media company run by journalist Roland Martin. Martin interviewed Harris for about 30 minutes on his streaming show in October.
A former CNN contributor told the Times that the payment was for advertising.
“It could have been worse,” he said, according to the report. “More money should have been spent on black-owned media.”

The Kamala Harris 2024 campaign reportedly made two $250,000 donations to the National Action Network, an organization led by Pastor Al Sharpton, ahead of her sit-in with the MSNBC host.
According to the Free Beacon, the Harris campaign donated $5.4 million to Black and Latino advocacy groups in an effort to add more Black and Latino voters to their coalition.
News of the spending comes as the Harris campaign faces increasing scrutiny over the $1.5 billion it spent during her brief presidential campaign.
The Times report also revealed that the star-studded campaign rally cost the campaign more than $10 million. The singers were not paid, but support staff were, the report said.
The campaign also announced that Oprah Winfrey's Harpo production on October 15, a month after Winfrey attended a town hall with Harris and weeks before the two appeared at the Harris-Philadelphia rally. paid $500,000 twice. FEC submissions show.

The total cost of the event with Winfrey was nearly $2.5 million, Harris' allies told the Times.
Harpo Productions spokesperson confirmed to Variety that the company received money from the campaign, but claimed it was for “production costs.”
The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
