Kamala Harris Lauds ‘Emotion’ Behind Anti-Israel Protests as DNI Admits Iran Pays for Them

Vice President Kamala Harris told the left: The Nation She wrote in the magazine that she praised the “sentiment” behind anti-Israel protests on university campuses — even as the government revealed that the demonstrations were funded by Iran.

in interview Speaking with Joan Walsh on Monday, Harris said the protests that have disrupted life on college campuses and in major cities and targeted Jewish people represent the right “sentiments” about the ongoing war in Gaza.

These answers are unlikely to satisfy the young people who have risen up against the destruction of Gaza. What will she say to them?

“They show exactly what human emotions should be in response to Gaza. I don’t fully support what the protesters are saying because some of their views I absolutely reject. But we have to get over it. I understand the emotions behind it.”

Fox News Note In the full interview, Harris also expresses concern about food shortages in Gaza “because I love to cook” (the United Nations recently clarified that there is no actual famine in Gaza, despite anti-Israel claims).

While Harris praised the “emotion” behind the protests, DNI Avril Haines Revealed On Tuesday, it was reported that the Iranian regime is funding some of the demonstrations in an effort to influence American politics.

In recent weeks, Iranian government actors have been agilely attempting to exploit the ongoing protests over the war in Gaza, employing tactics that other actors have used for years: We have observed actors with ties to the Iranian government posing as activists online, attempting to encourage protests, and offering financial support to protesters.

I want to be clear that I know that Americans participating in the protests are expressing their views on the Gaza conflict in good faith. This information is not intended to suggest otherwise. Furthermore, while the freedom to express diverse views, as long as it is done peacefully, is essential to our democracy, it is also important to caution foreign powers that seek to exploit our debate for their own purposes.

Additionally, Americans targeted by this Iranian attack may not be aware that they are interacting with or receiving support from a foreign government. We urge all Americans to remain vigilant when engaging online with accounts or people they do not personally know.

The Department of Justice, including its Civil Rights Division, has so far remained silent about the ongoing wave of anti-Semitism and has shown little interest in investigating domestic anti-Israel groups or their sources of funding.

Harris is seen as a possible replacement for President Joe Biden, the leading Democratic contender, if he drops out of the presidential race following a poor performance in last month’s debate and a steep drop in the polls.

Her husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, is said to have worked with anti-Semitic groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to develop the White House “strategy” for fighting anti-Semitism.
