Kamala Harris laughs at her own ‘the context in which you exist’ word salad: ‘Yeah, I did that’

Even Vice President Kamala Harris laughed at her own word salad during Tuesday's post-election speech.

With many of her supporters still reeling from her defeat in November, Ms. Harris visited Prince George's Community College in Maryland and urged the crowd to “keep fighting.”

“I want you to remember that this struggle is not new. This struggle goes back to Lexington and Concord, almost 250 years ago,” the vice president told the audience. “For generations, this fight has been driven by people who love our country, cherish its ideals, and refuse to sit passively while our ideals are under attack. ” This battle continues with you. You are their successors. ”

Harris told the audience with a knowing smile. “Remember the context in which you exist.” She paused, nodded, and laughed, “Oh, I did. Hmm.”

She seemed to be referencing an earlier word salad that her campaign has employed. “Do you think you fell out of a coconut tree? You exist in the context of everything you live in and everything that came before you.”

Social media users were quick to mock the vice president.

“She's joking now, but that doesn't make it any less of a joke,” said National Review senior writer Noah Rothman.

Political commentator Colin Rugg shared the video and wrote with obvious sarcasm: “I have to say this was impressive,” and quipped her words as “a profound comment.”

Juanita Broadrick responded, “She should be forced to sit alone in a room and watch her own videos. She has the intelligence of dirt.”

Rugg added: “This is the woman that 75 million Americans wanted to send to negotiate with world leaders like Putin and Xi. We're very concerned.”
