Vice President Kamala Harris was heavily mocked on Thursday after a video of her appearance on a television show urging people to get out the vote was made public. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars “Our rights and freedoms are under attack,” she claimed.
“Every day we see our rights and freedoms under attack, including our right to be who we are and to love those we love openly and proudly,” the 59-year-old vice president said in the video.
“So as we fight back against these attacks, let’s remember that none of us are alone,” Harris added. The episode was recorded ahead of her bid to succeed Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee for president.

At one point, after Jones, the comedian, yelled, “You better vote,” Harris had one of her infamous convulsive fits.
While the video certainly garnered a lot of support from gay advocates, it also drew a lot of ridicule.

It’s grotesque, depraved, repulsive and a sign of the moral decadence of society. To say it marks the downfall of an empire would be an exaggeration.

Harris has had trouble with drag queens before: In March, a man she invited to the White House to celebrate Gay Pride Month was accused of multiple sexual assaults.
Darius Pierce, who performs in drag as “Shangela” Accused The incidents date back to 2019 and involved sexual assaults by five people.
