Kamala Harris Outlines Amnesty for Millions of Illegals in DNC Speech

Vice President Kamala Harris outlined her plan to pass amnesty for between 11 million and 22 million illegal immigrants in the United States during her speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Thursday night.

“I believe we can reform our broken immigration system while living up to our proud tradition as a nation of immigrants,” Harris said on the final night of the Democratic National Convention. “We can create a pathway to citizenship and secure our border.”

This “path to citizenship” is supposedly designed to allow the country’s 11 million to 22 million illegal immigrants to apply for green cards and ultimately obtain naturalized U.S. citizenship through legislation that remains opposed by a majority of members of the House and Senate.

Harris mentioned the pardon at a rally in Glendale, Arizona, this month.

Such an amnesty would instantly fill the U.S. workforce with millions of newly legal foreign workers, with working- and middle-class Americans having to compete with them.

Speaking at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night, Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) suggested Harris would make amnesty for illegal immigrants and bringing foreign workers into American jobs a central part of her platform.

“As president, she will fight for a path to citizenship…We believe that our union will be more perfect when DREAMers become doctors, teachers, construction workers and military personnel,” Aguilar said.
