Kamala Harris Prior to Trump’s Speech: ‘The 2020 Election Was Fair’

Kamala Harris Issues Warning About Stopping Trump from Selecting More Justices

Kamala Harris Defends 2020 Election Results Ahead of Trump’s Speech

Former Vice President Kamala Harris defended the legitimacy of the 2020 election, urging Americans to vote and verify their registration before the upcoming November elections, just prior to President Donald Trump’s address on election integrity.

“Before the president goes on air to spread misinformation, here’s what you should know: the 2020 election wasn’t stolen. We won, he lost,” Harris stated. She shared her thoughts in a tweet just before Trump spoke about the situation from the White House.

Harris continued in a thread, stating, “The SAVE Act undermines voting rights. This is part of a broader conservative strategy to strip power from the people.”

“Donald Trump and his administration have done nothing to reduce the costs of housing, healthcare, childcare, food, or gas. They’ve embroiled the nation in a war that the public does not support.”

“He’s trying to divert your attention from that reality.”

Harris elaborated, saying, “The president is afraid of your power and wants you to think that your vote doesn’t count.”

“He aims to erode your trust in our election system and hopes you’ll stay home this November. He understands the frustrations of the American people and wants to ensure you don’t participate in the election.”

“Because if turnout is high, the Republicans will face significant losses.”

In her conclusion, Harris emphasized, “We recognize that times are tough and there’s much to tackle.”

“Voting is crucial to make our voices heard and to prove we’re still in this fight against a corrupt and harsh regime.”

“Check your voter registration and polling location today.”

In his prime-time address, Trump claimed that the Department of Homeland Security found about 278,000 noncitizens on voter rolls, asserting that the actual number could be higher due to some Democratic-led states not sharing their voter files. “This limited analysis indicates more than 250,000 noncitizens are illegally registered,” he claimed. He further alleged that foreign nations had access to extensive U.S. voter data and warned about the potential vulnerabilities in voting machines and tabulation systems, suggesting that the voter rolls included many noncitizens and deceased individuals.

Harris mentioned earlier this year that she “might” consider running for president again in 2028. She also noted how Trump has previously stated that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and anticipated similar interventions in 2020, putting Russia “at the forefront.” When asked about Biden’s potential vulnerability to such interference, Harris acknowledged, “Theoretically, yes, of course.” She described the situation as “classic voter suppression,” pointing to Trump’s efforts to undermine confidence in the electoral process and suggesting that these were deliberate obstacles preventing Americans from voting.
