Vice President Kamala Harris “is the most liberal candidate in history,” Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick said in a television appearance Friday. Breitbart News DailyHe explained how she will impact the upcoming election campaign.
McCormick said her campaign in Pennsylvania was “looking good” and that a run as the Democratic nominee could deal a blow to her rival, Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pennsylvania), who has been a “seal of approval” for the Biden-Harris administration.
“I think it’s a good situation, but this is something we’ve seen before and it’s always been this way. President Trump and Senator Kamala Harris have 100% name recognition and the challengers are gaining momentum,” he began.
“And in all cases, in my case, of course, as you see the polls close, more people will know who the candidate is, which in this case is me. So, I’m happy with the momentum,” he said, explaining that Casey is, in most cases, voting for Harris, who was selected by Democrats without the help of actual voters.
“And here’s the reality: We now have Kamala Harris as the top candidate and the most liberal candidate in history. So when she speaks to Pennsylvanians about these California liberal issues — banning fracking, ending private health insurance, legalizing illegal immigration, mandatory gun buybacks — Kamala Harris makes her case and Bob Casey is aligned with her 98 percent of the time. I think the contrast is fascinating,” McCormick explained.

“The other thing is, as you say, Pennsylvania is the epicenter, so it’s going to be the state that gets the most attention and the most funding. It’s going to be a great opportunity for me to create a contrast with Bob Casey, who is a career politician and a Biden-Harris supporter,” he added, noting that there will also be the challenge of battling media attempts to cover up Harris and her extreme positions.
“We have to fight through the media. I mean, look at what’s already happening. Within a day or two of Bob Casey endorsing Kamala Harris, I ran this commercial, and it was just Bob Casey’s words. Kamala Harris’ extreme positions on everything from immigration to fracking were repeated over and over again. And that commercial was viewed 6 million times. But the media is allowing her to systematically undermine positions that are completely out of step with the people of Pennsylvania,” McCormick said, emphasizing his fight against the liberal media. “The media is giving her a golden opportunity to retake or win the White House, and it’s giving her an opportunity to walk away from positions that she holds dear.”
“This is a battle for the direction of the country. We have to win on November 5th. We have to hold Kamala Harris and Bob Casey accountable for a series of liberal positions that were implemented in the last administration. In her own words, the next administration will be even more liberal and radical. That’s the challenge,” he added.
