The Harris presidential campaign released its first official video on Thursday, less than a week after President Joe Biden was thrown out the window and Kamala Harris was nominated to succeed him.
The ad, titled “We Choose Freedom”, was first aired on her social media channels and promotes her as an “ambassador of peace” in contrast to the “fear and chaos” implied by her opponent.
The video begins with various clips of Harris smiling from behind a podium, with the word Kamala ringing out along with her name. The American flag also appears, and the Pride flag, a “progressive pride” flag in transgender colors, is also featured in the video.
The soundtrack begins with a Beyonce song. freedomIn her first address to campaign staff, Harris reportedly confirmed Biden’s resignation and her promotion as his successor.
Harris narrates the entire promotional video, which covers a wide range of left-wing causes from abortion to transgender pride, as well as the legal battles aimed at former President Donald Trump.

of Guardian Reports Before the ad aired, Beyoncé reportedly gave Harris permission to use the song.
Although the singer has not explicitly endorsed Harris, her approval of the song could be seen as an implicit endorsement.
Beyoncé has been a long-time supporter of the Democratic Party.

The outlet noted that she supported Hillary Clinton’s campaign, performed at President Obama’s second inauguration, and endorsed Biden-Harris in the 2000 presidential election.
