Kamala’s border fail EXPOSED in ‘60 Minutes’ interview

Kamala Harris has successfully done a series of softball interviews with friendly, partisan hosts, but her recent interview with Bill Whitaker on “60 Minutes'' was a sharp departure from that trend. was.

“I've been covering the border for years, so I know this is not a problem that started with your administration,” Whitaker began. “But the first three years of your administration saw a historic surge of illegal immigrants across the border.”

“In fact, the number of people entering the country has quadrupled compared to last year under President Trump. Was it a mistake to loosen immigration policies so much?” he added, before Kamala meandered away. .

“This is a long-standing problem, a solution is at hand, and we've been providing a solution literally since day one,” the vice president responded.

Other interviewers might have missed it, but Whitaker didn't.

“What I wanted to ask was whether it was a mistake to allow that flood to happen in the first place,” he asked. Kamala again did not answer, telling Whittaker that the policies she was promoting were “solving problems, not promoting them.”

“But the number has quadrupled,” Whittaker answered calmly, as if speaking to a child.

Kamala went on to defend the Biden administration's efforts to halve the “flow of illegal immigration” and accuse Congress of further inaction.

“There's an absolute irony in that,” commented Dave Rubin of the Rubin Report, perturbed. “First of all, there is no need for Congress to do anything.”

“We don't need more laws to control our borders. In fact, what you did immediately after taking office was to eliminate President Donald Trump's executive actions that were blocking illegal immigration. That’s it,” he added.
