As she tried to calm the child she was watching, the Kansas babysitter met a “monster” under the bed.
The child complained that there was a “monster” hidden under the bed, and when the sitter tried to prove there was nothing there, she met the male suspect.
Sheriff's deputies were sent to the house just outside Great Bend around 10:30pm, and when they arrived the male suspect fled the scene.
“A babysitter argument continues and one child was defeated in the struggle. The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived,” a statement from the Burton County Sheriff's Office read.

Martin Villalobos Jr., 27, was arrested and carried the Burton County Jail. (Burton County Sheriff's Office)
The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Martin Villalobos Jr. and is a former resident who is currently protected from abuse orders issued against him to leave his property.
The agent searched the property, but was unable to find Villarrobos until the next morning.
Villarobos was arrested and taken to the Burton County Jail.

He is booked for aggravated inducements, worsening robbery, worsening battery, risk of children, felony obstruction of law enforcement officers, and violation of protection from abuse orders. (istock)
