Rapper Ye, previously known as Kanye West, attended the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs on Friday, showing his support for the music mogul amid the ongoing proceedings.
Clad in all-white denim, Ye spent about 40 minutes at the Manhattan federal court. However, he couldn’t enter the courtroom itself and had to watch the trial from another room via video monitor.
His absence from the main courtroom was due to not being listed among Combs’ family or friends.
When asked by a reporter if he was there to support Combs, Ye nodded affirmatively.
He was accompanied by Combs’ son, King Combs, and they reportedly left the trial together as they are now working on new music together.
Ye has openly supported Combs since his arrest, even posting “Free Puff” on social media in February.
“All of these celebrities will never say anything,” he remarked.
During the trial, a woman referred to as “Jane” completed six days of testimony, claiming she was coerced into engaging in extended sexual encounters with a male prostitute throughout her relationship with Combs, which began in 2021.
Currently, Combs faces charges related to sex trafficking and conspiracy, accused of leveraging his status and wealth to manipulate women into unwanted sexual situations.
These alleged sexual encounters were referred to as “freak-offs.” Additional reports have detailed other activities associated with Combs, including those labeled as “white parties” and “freak-offs.”
