He is accused of killing her boyfriend after a drunk spat. The other disappeared without any traces, leaving her husband with a murder suspect.

Both were investigated by the same Massachusetts police officer. His behavioral actions led to his halt without an internal investigation of his actions.

They are Karen Reed, accused of hit Boston police officer John O'Keefe in a Lexus SUV and accused of dying in a blizzard. On January 1, 2023, it is said that the cause was a foul play on behalf of her husband Brian Walche.

Michael Proctor, an investigator whose career could be embarrassing at the end of a series of state disciplinary hearings, investigated both cases.

O'Keefe was found dead on January 29, 2022, after drinking with reading and other friends in the snow outside his friend's house. Her defense argued that her defense was part of an elaborate effort to frame her after he died in conflict with a fellow police friend.

Her first trial, including embarrassing testimony from Proctor, ended with the examiner.

When Reed's defense team read some of Proctor's text messages, the ju umpire was seen shaking their heads in court. Among them he called to read “Wak Job,” “Baby,” “a – no a – with a -” and “c —“. He also wrote that she wanted to kill herself and joked about searching for nude selfies while searching for her phone. He was suspended after the trial without pay.

She lost her bid on Tuesday to throw away the case on double risk reasons and receives a new trial as expected. It is scheduled to start in April.

On New Year's Day, 2023, Brian Walche allegedly killed and torn apart his 39-year-old wife, Anna Walche, at his home in Cohasset, about 25 miles after O'Keefe died. His trial is scheduled to begin on October 21st.

At a December hearing in the Walche case, his defense team was at risk about potential police bias from a group of Massachusetts troopers, including Proctor, the lead investigator, a key figure in Reed's Mistry. A signal was raised.

The Norfolk District Attorney's Office, which handles the Walche case, declined to comment.

Prosecutors downplayed Proctor's involvement as minimal and said they were not going to call him in the stands, but the defense told the court that he had interviewed many witnesses and evidence from the start of the case. He said he attended for collection.

The defense also alleged that the reading case suggests Proctor may be biased in other cases, including Walche, and that they requested an internal affairs report on the troopers. They accused the state police of evidence of cherry picking.

“The defendant has the right to show that the investigation is flawed. What we hear from the government is that he doesn't want to call Proctor a litigation officer,” the month. “It's not because he didn't do anything important, because he seemed to be at least engaged in a read case along with the other troopers he worked with.

Walche's defense demanded that prosecutors hand over all Proctor's texts in the new case.

A week after the hearing, Proctor appeared before the state court committee for a disciplinary hearing over his actions in the reading case. The results have not been determined yet.

Although Anna Walche's body has not been found, police accused her husband of using her son's iPad to conduct more than dozens of Google searches on how to dispose of human remains.

Readings returned to court for a hearing on February 18th, with her new trial scheduled for April 1st.

The Walche trial is scheduled to begin on October 20th.
