Karine Jean-Pierre had criticized journalists for inquiring about Biden’s health.

Concerns Around Biden’s Health Mentioned in Recent Reports

Recent reports suggest that a former White House press secretary was aware of President Biden’s physical and mental decline prior to his withdrawal from the 2024 campaign. This revelation raises questions about whether there was an attempt to conceal his deteriorating condition from the media.

During a press briefing shortly after Biden exited his re-election bid in July 2024, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre engaged in a heated exchange with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy. He pressed her on claims that party members and media outlets were obscuring the president’s cognitive issues.

Jean-Pierre firmly stated, “First of all, there was no cover-up,” and insisted on the importance of clarity regarding the situation.

In response to another reporter’s question about possible directives issued to downplay Biden’s condition, Jean-Pierre reiterated that there was no orchestrated effort to mislead the public.

However, a Biden insider—anonymously cited—has reportedly acknowledged the president’s decline, mentioning that this individual was involved in discussions about how to handle media inquiries about Biden’s health.

Axios reporter Alex Thompson revealed in a conversation with News Nation that this insider asserted Biden deserved criticism on various fronts while collaborating with CNN’s Jake Tapper for a new book titled *Original Sin: Biden*.

In another shocking update, a former medical advisor to Biden claimed he was likely dealing with cancer at the start of his presidency, which adds more uncertainty to the discussions surrounding his health.

Thompson further elaborated that there were efforts within Biden’s circle to keep many White House staffers unaware of his actual physical and mental status. A former aide stated that Biden’s inner confidence pressured officials, like former Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates, to deny any knowledge of his health complications when addressed by the media.

Additional reporting claimed that Bates and most of the press team rarely met the president directly, often relying on senior staff for insights into his well-being.

Moreover, the book outlines that the Biden campaign and the White House aimed to create a barrier against journalists scrutinizing the president’s age and health.

Since assuming office, concerns regarding Biden’s health have continually surfaced, especially after his recent diagnosis of progressive prostate cancer. Recent revelations, including a Justice Department audio recording of a 2024 interview with special advisor Robert Huar, provide further evidence of Biden’s cognitive challenges shortly before he exited the presidential race.

Reactions from Jean-Pierre and Biden were not immediately available, as inquiries placed by Fox News Digital went unanswered.
