LOS ANGELES — Karl Anthony Towns will face the Lakers Thursday night after missing the previous game for personal reasons, league sources told the Post.
Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said the town “needs to do a while,” but he didn't know if his starting center would fly with the team for a five-game road trip.
Town girlfriend Jordyn Woods then hinted at a personal issue by posting to X. Cancer will not smoke.
The New York offense managed just 21 points in the fourth quarter and was flat without a town lost to the 114-102 Warriors.
The Knicks (40-21) are 3-3 in a townless game this season.
Mitchell Robinson, who returned from a 10-month absence last week, began his place with the town's warriors.

The Lakers (39-21) defeated the Knicks last month by scoring seven straight sets at MSG.
