Kash Patel has been confirmed as FBI director, and it appears the new Trump administration cannot stop victory.
While all Democrats voted against Patel, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY.) shockedly voted for Patel, bringing the vote to 51-49.
Before his big victory, Patel gave his peers an important message.
“If I'm confirmed as the next FBI Director, I will continue to focus on the FBI core mission, meaning that I will thoroughly investigate and stand alone wherever there is a constitutional, de facto basis for doing so. “They are not to make prosecutor decisions that are the only thing: the Department of Justice and the Attorney General,” Patel said.
“What I learned was that there was a core value that I've been enshrined, so that the right process must be provided to all Americans without bias, and the worst of the cases. If we can't provide a legitimate process, then no one has a legitimate process, and our constitutional republic has failed to erode trust,” he continued.

Patel went on to point out that only 40% of Americans today trust the FBI.
“We have two trucks to get it back,” he said. “In this country, violent crimes are exploding. We can't afford to allow them to escape. We need to tackle violent crimes. In 2023 alone, there have been 100,000 rapes, 100,000 drug overdose and 177,000 murders. did.”
“The FBI's priority is to ensure that, if I'm confirmed, our community is protected, protected and has a park where children can play,” he continued.
“The second way to do this on an equal trajectory is aggressive constitutional oversight from the Congress. Public trusts can only recover if there is full transparency, and I would commit to it “I'm doing that,” he added.
Sarah Gonzalez “Sara Gonzalez is not filtered” is what makes me excited about Patel's victory and his priorities.
“We love seeing that,” says Gonzalez. “Finally, we had a four-year administration that made the most of weaponizing all bureaucracy against half of the Americans.”
“You have an entire Democrat party voting everything 'no' to get the FBI back to its original intentions, right? The intention is to do your job,” she says. “Hey, maybe we don't label our parents' domestic terrorists. Hey, maybe we don't start investigating Catholics because Catholics are Catholic. Hey, maybe we're going to do violent crimes. Maybe they're just targeting it. That might be cool.”
