Kate Gosselin Addresses Rumors in Tiktok Live Show
Kate Gosselin, known for her role on “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” recently took to Tiktok to set the record straight about rumors that have been circulating regarding her actions and family dynamics.
During a live session on Friday, she faced accusations head-on, specifically addressing the claim that she “stole” her children’s college funds. “I stole my kids’ college money,” she articulated, clearly trying to debunk that accusation.
Addressing Family Estrangement
In addition, the 49-year-old mother of eight spoke about her relationship with her daughter, Hannah, who has opted to live with her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. Kate insisted that they maintain communication, stating, “Hanna is texting me. The misconception that Hannah and I don’t talk—well, we’ve always been in touch.” She added, “Hannah visits and stays connected with the other kids.”
It seems there are, perhaps, continued misunderstandings. “You can continue to misunderstand, but those are the two that come to mind,” she acknowledged, hinting at the confusion surrounding her family from the public’s perspective.
Life Beyond Reality Television
Kate also shared glimpses into her more ordinary life, which now includes working long shifts as a pediatric nurse. Recently, she mentioned, “Today was a busy day, and it was another 12 hours.” The constant hustle is a stark contrast to her previous life in front of the camera.
As a follower pointed out the effort she puts into her work, Kate responded candidly, reflecting on her commitment to her children’s futures. “Honestly? I’m proud to provide university funding to eight children. I’m managing all the university expenses and lawyers,” she said, acknowledging the financial challenge but focusing on the benefits of supporting her family.
Gosselin first garnered national fame when “Jon & Kate Plus 8” began airing from 2007 to 2009, before her divorce led to her starring in a spinoff titled “Kate Plus 8,” highlighting her journey as a single mother.
