Kate Hudson Enjoys Time with Her Son’s Friends
Kate Hudson recently shared her thoughts on having her 14-year-old son’s friends over in the mornings. During an interview while promoting her new film, Song San Bleu, alongside Hugh Jackman, she expressed how much she appreciates these moments.
Hudson mentioned that her son, Bingham, often invites friends over. When Jackman asked her if kids thought she was cool, she replied, “I think kids think I’m cool.”
“You know, having friends come over is a good sign, especially at that age,” she said. “They really enjoy being home with me, which is lovely,” Hudson reflected. “Bing’s friends sit with me in the morning while I make breakfast. I think they like just hanging out.”
In the same interview, she talked about how her kids, including her other two children, Ryder and Lani, keep her grounded. “They always remind you where you stand, you know?” she laughed. “I encourage them to voice their opinions; it’s important.”
Hudson went on to discuss her relationship with her oldest son, noting how he often teases her now that he’s an adult. “I love it when they joke around with me; it’s fun,” she said.
Moving on to the film, Hudson and Jackman star in a story about two struggling musicians who create a Neil Diamond tribute band, reminiscent of their own challenges. She described their working relationship as almost like a marriage due to the chemistry they had to maintain on-screen.
Hudson concluded by highlighting how everything fell into place quite easily during filming, which she considered a blessing. “It just felt so natural,” she added. “I think that made all the difference.”
