Kathy Griffin leans on pal Jane Fonda after filing for divorce

Kathy Griffin is getting by with a little help from her friends.

On Sunday, the actress and comedienne posted two photos on Instagram of herself hanging out with Jane Fonda. The post came shortly after the 63-year-old filed for divorce from marketing executive Randy Bick. They were married for almost 4 years.

“My girlfriends will get me through this,” Griffin captioned the post.

“I had to use the Batphone last night,” she said. “I…'Fonda, this is Griffin. My heart is broken. I can't eat, I can't sleep.'”

“Jane…'Come on, kid. I'll make you something. You eat and I'll listen,'” Griffin said of the “Barbarella” actress, 86.

Many celebrities expressed their support for Griffin in the comments section.

“Oh Kathy,” Debra Messing wrote. “You will rise stronger from this difficult chapter in life because you are loved and supported. You are a survivor. I am so sorry that you are hurting. I will take it away. I hope so.”

Kristin Chenoweth wrote, “You will do this, you will do this.”

Griffin filed for divorce Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Griffin and Bick married on New Year's Day, less than three years after he was fired by CNN from hosting his annual New Year's Eve show with Anderson Cooper. At the time, she received backlash for posting a photo of herself holding what appeared to be then-President Trump's severed head.

The two started dating in 2011, but didn't get married until January 2020. The ceremony was hosted by Fonda's former “Grace & Frankie” co-star Lily Tomlin.

The “My Life on the D-List'' comedian appeared to address the divorce on his social media, writing, “Ugh… soooo this sucks.''

Griffin said she had a prenuptial agreement with Vick and asked the court not to award her spousal support, TMZ first reported. The couple has no children.

She was married to actor Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006.

[because] “He's 18 years younger than me!” Griffin told People magazine in 2016 about her relationship with Bic. “We've been together for five years now and we're having so much fun. And he's so sweet and so calm.” He's like a normal guy, you know, he's like a real guy. . He's not a Hollywood kind of guy. ”

Griffin is back in the spotlight next year with a new comedy tour called “My Life on the PSTD-List.”
