Katy Perry has recently given fans a peek into her relationship with boyfriend Justin Trudeau and their daughter, Daisy Dove, during her break from performing.
The singer known for “Fireworks” shared a casual selfie alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in an Instagram post on Wednesday. In the photo, they both looked playfully joyful, their expressions a bit intimate. Another image featured Trudeau at a table, examining a star wand made of glittery pipe cleaners.
Perry even added a cheeky Hello Kitty meme that read, “Patiently waiting for your friend to finish an important task so you can call him,” which humorously referenced her romance with Trudeau.
In another update, she gave a glimpse of her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, enjoying a quieter moment while away from the spotlight. One picture captured Perry and Daisy resting their hands on a children’s book, The Fly Beneath the Sea, in preparation for a bedtime story, while another showed Daisy walking in the snow, bundled in a fuzzy giraffe-print jacket.
There was also a handwritten note from a child depicting an old woman, captioned: “When I’m 100, I’ll be very old. I’ll probably…watch TV in bed and drink soup!”
Additionally, a few other snapshots included Perry in a dentist chair and behind the wheel of a car wearing a sheet mask. She captioned the series, “You are the treasure you are looking for.”
This burst of personal sharing came during Perry’s break after wrapping up her “Lifetimes” tour in December. She is set to return to the stage at the O Son do Caminho music festival in June.

Perry and her ex, Orlando Bloom, welcomed Daisy in 2020 but separated in June after about a decade together. Trudeau, who recently ended his marriage with Sophie Trudeau after 18 years, also has three children.
Romance rumors between Perry and Trudeau began in July 2025, when they were seen dining together and taking a walk in Mount Royal Park. Trudeau even attended one of Perry’s sold-out shows in Canada during that time.
Further speculation about their relationship arose in September when photos of them appearing quite cozy on the singer’s yacht surfaced, reinforcing their connection. It’s been said that Trudeau is quite fond of Perry, as they share interests in politics, parenting, and even French cuisine.
