It's been a while since we first saw Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock co-starring on screen together.
But the “Speed” co-stars reunited at Beyondfest on Tuesday to celebrate the beloved action thriller's 30th anniversary, and the film's director, Jan Devon, also joined them for a Q&A.
The discussion was moderate, but one question crept in about the possibility of a third movie, something that both Reeves and Bullock had been unsure about until now.

”[He] He knew what the audience wanted and demanded it from everyone. Then everyone went up to bat. So what movie will make Jean's brains and genius happy? ' she thought.
“It's going to demand a lot from everyone and I'm not sure we're in an industry that tolerates that anymore. And be brave enough to do it…I could be wrong. “Hmm,” she said. “I don’t know what we can do to make it satisfying enough for the audience.”

Back at the 30th anniversary celebration held at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles, the stars were asked if they knew during filming that the film was something special.
“We knew we were doing something weird,” Reeves joked. fan video.
“I was behind the wheel of the projectile, so at the end of the day I was just happy to be alive,” Bullock joked.

“I mean, I was new to the whole game, so I didn't know what was going on, what felt right, what shouldn't feel a certain way, but I just… was just in there!”
“It was real. When we were hitting things, we were hitting those things. So we had the benefit of real time, but you don't get that much anymore.” Because you can't do that, I think as an actor — I felt like it was really special to be a novice behind the wheel and just want everyone to be safe… It felt really authentic.
The original “Speed” was released in 1994, and its sequel “Speed 2: Cruise Control” came out in 1997.
