Keith Olbermann shares surprising message to Scott Jennings

Former ESPN host Keith Olbermann seemingly targeted CNN commentator Scott Jennings in a recent sequence of social media posts. This drama unfolded shortly after the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University.

A screenshot shared by Town Hall columnist Dustin Greige captured Olbermann’s message directed at Jennings, stating, “You’re the next mother—er. But keep robbing the camera.” This response appeared to stem from Jennings’ comments regarding Disney’s return of Jimmy Kimmel’s show after a brief hiatus prompted by Kirk’s assassination.

In further comments, Olbermann expanded on his initial post. “Now we’re removing fascists from real television. That means your career is next, Jennings. Send tapes to the real American voice,” he added, emphasizing his disdain for Jennings with, “But amateurs, continue robbing the camera.”

Olbermann has faced significant criticism for his contentious comments surrounding both Kirk and Kimmel. Following the announcement that several television affiliates would preempt Kimmel’s shows, Olbermann’s frustrations boiled over. “Hell burns, Sinclair,” he remarked on X, referencing Kirk’s death.

In a separate exchange, Kimmel accused Olbermann of reaching new lows, suggesting he was trying to link his views to the 22-year-old suspect, Tyler Robinson. Kimmel’s remarks came after both FBI officials and the governor of Utah indicated that Robinson had developed a leftist ideology and had become increasingly radicalized over the years.

This situation continues to evolve, revealing the complexities of political commentary and its repercussions in the media landscape.
