Kelly Bensimon’s Eventful Weekend
Kelly Bensimon discovered that the guy she was dating was kissing someone else just an hour before she took the runway in a bikini at Miami Swim Week.
Sources reported that the former “Real Housewife of New York” was in the makeup area for designer Melissa Odabasch’s show “Sitting in Hair and Makeup to Get Text” when her date, financial figure Robert Flood, was seen locking lips with his ex-fiancé at a bar in Westchester, New York. Strange timing, right?
A witness mentioned, “People were advising her not to get too psychological about this,” as she prepared to strut her stuff onstage in a two-piece ensemble during the show last weekend.
It seems Bensimon is now trying to figure out her next steps. Flood, who briefly dated Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel, might have complicated things further. “She really likes him,” a source disclosed, “but finding this out is definitely not what she wanted right now.”
The reality star turned real estate broker is feeling down and is contemplating whether or not to forgive Flood. At 57, she’s aware of the ticking clock and is uncertain about what to do next.
Bensimon was spotted looking cozy with someone in Greenwich, Connecticut, not long after the news broke.
Reaching out for comments, there’s been no word yet from Flood.
Interestingly, it’s been Bensimon’s first public outing since calling off her wedding to Scott Litner. She also recently launched a new podcast titled “I Am Part 2.”
While she hasn’t addressed the situation directly, she did share her excitement about walking the runway last week.
Behind the scenes, Bensimon has been advised to keep her mental state in check despite the chaos around her.
In addition to managing her dating drama, she has been focusing on wellness and has been meeting with Dr. Amanda Khan, a longevity expert, for peptide treatments aimed at enhancing her energy levels. Dr. Khan has become something of a go-to for New York’s social scene, with various celebrities among her clients.
Bensimon is also undergoing NAD+ treatments which are meant to support optimal cellular function. “It’s a coenzyme that energizes your cells,” Dr. Khan explained, highlighting its intended benefits. Bensimon also takes glutathione, an antioxidant that naturally diminishes with age, to help counteract that decline.
Bensimon mentioned to us, “It’s transformational. It changed my body,” expressing her satisfaction with the peptides she started taking in March. She shared the positive changes she’s experienced, including improved gut health and overall wellness.
“You feel healthier. Your skin texture changes, and your hair and nails grow better,” she told us, adding, “My skin texture looks completely different. It’s tight, bright. People say I look very young.”
The regimen is a financial commitment, costing about $1,500 monthly or $800 per visit.
In terms of nutrition and fitness, she mentioned eating a lot of protein and vegetables, while also working with a trainer from Equinox, Joan Martins.
