Kelsey Plum makes first public comments on Darren Waller divorce
Aces star Kelsey Plumb said she feels “fired up and refined” after a rough year that included filing for divorce in April after a year of marriage to Giants tight end Darren Waller.
The WNBA All-Star guard, who wed Waller in a quiet ceremony in Las Vegas in March 2023, explained that Waller was doing well after news of their breakup became public last month.
“Oh, the offseason was tough for me. I mean, I think everyone knows, but this has been pretty public,” he said, noting that a reporter was “how to be a stronger athlete” heading into the 2024 season. ”, Plumb told Fox 5 News in Las Vegas.

That day, Plumb hinted in a post on her social media page that her marriage was over.
“I was devastated.” she started. “I’ve walked through fire for that person and now I think it’s time to walk away.
“God has given me a wonderful life and I am truly grateful for the deep love from my family and friends. I plan to tell my story someday, but today is not that day.”
Waller has not yet spoken publicly about the divorce.
