Kenny Loggins Demands Removal of Song from Trump Meme

Singer Kenny Loggins has called for the removal of his song “Danger Zone” from a meme shared by President Donald Trump on Saturday.

In a statement, Loggins accused Trump of using his iconic track in an AI-generated video that depicted the President dropping feces from an F-18 fighter jet onto “No Kings” protesters. “This is an unauthorized use of my performance ‘Danger Zone.’ No one asked me for permission, but I would have refused. I demand that my recording of this video be taken down immediately,” Loggins stated.

The meme was a response to protests that occurred in several cities across the U.S. on Saturday, where demonstrators were voicing their dissatisfaction with the Trump administration’s policies, including immigration and crime issues.

In the video, Trump, wearing a crown, flies over the protesters in an F-18 and drops feces on them. One scene notably shows a young activist named Harry Sisson caught in the fallout.

Loggins expressed disappointment that his song was linked to such a divisive message. “I can’t imagine why anyone would want their music used in a way that’s meant to create division. We need to find ways to come together,” he remarked. He stressed the importance of unity, saying, “We’re all Americans and patriots. There shouldn’t be an ‘us and them’ mentality.” He hopes that music can serve as a means of celebration and unification.

Sisson also addressed the meme on social media, asking reporters to inquire why Trump posted the video. Vice President J.D. Vance responded humorously, suggesting that Trump should find someone else to drop the poop on.

The White House has yet to comment on the situation.
