Kevin O'Leary battles Tiffany Cross over claims that ICE agents are 'White supremacists' during CNN debate

O’Leary and Cross Engage in Heated Debate Over ICE

Kevin O’Leary found himself in a dispute with former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross during a CNN appearance on Tuesday. Cross labeled Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as “white supremacists,” pointing to their “tattoos” and asserting that some members of the Proud Boys had transitioned into ICE roles.

Cross elaborated, stating, “The reason we haven’t seen a revival of the Proud Boys is likely that many of them are now ICE agents. I mean, I’ve mentioned this before. Their tactics—masking up, the violent actions—reflect a lot of what the original founders advocated.” She made these remarks on “Newsnight,” hosted by Abby Phillippe.

This heated exchange followed riots in Minneapolis linked to the fatal shooting of Alex Preti by Border Patrol agents.

O’Leary rebutted, asking, “Are you really suggesting that ICE agents are militia?”

“Yes,” Cross confirmed, responding pointedly, “Were you not listening?”

In defense, O’Leary argued that her statements were irrelevant because of her comparison of ICE’s actions to the “Gestapo.”

Cross responded, “I don’t think we’re exaggerating anything here.”

Phillippe interjected, cautioning, “Tiffany, you’re making a baseless assumption…there’s no concrete proof linking actual Proud Boys members to this.” O’Leary pressed Cross again, questioning if she truly meant to connect ICE with the “Proud Boy militia.”

Cross clarified, “I didn’t use that term, but it’s shameful you’re here,” defending herself against O’Leary’s criticism of her remarks.

She reiterated that some ICE members have “white supremacist tattoos.”

O’Leary sought further clarification, asking if she was asserting that federal employees are, in fact, white supremacists.

“Yes, specifically a federal employee,” she answered. “I rely on what I see and hear, and I’ve noticed there are several ICE agents sporting white supremacist tattoos.”

Fox News Digital reached out to ICE for a statement, but a response was not immediately forthcoming.

In the midst of their exchange, Cross accused O’Leary of being part of a cult, prompting Phillip to step in to de-escalate the tension.
