Investor and TV personality Kevin O’Leary predicted Monday that former President Trump will be re-elected, thanks in large part to recent criminal convictions in New York state.

“If Donald Trump becomes president, he will owe a huge debt to Alvin Bragg,” O’Leary said on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

“Alvin Bragg is a kingmaker,” he said.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told reporters his office had “done its job” after Trump was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“Our job is to follow the facts and the law without fear or prejudice,” Bragg said Thursday night.

O’Leary said Bragg “brought President Trump to power by polarizing the country and galvanizing his supporters. In the last 42 hours, [Trump] He has now raised over $60 million, a new record for his work!”

After Trump’s verdict, Bragg praised prosecutors for “doing their job.” “The jury has spoken.”

Trump continues to report significant fundraising after his guilty verdict on Thursday.

The Trump campaign announced Monday that it and the Republican National Committee raised a staggering $141 million in May, up from $76 million in April, when it outraised President Biden and the Democratic National Committee for the first time in its 2024 reelection campaign.

“Donald Trump didn’t have control of the party until just 24 months ago, in the middle of President Biden’s first term,” O’Leary pointed out to the other panelists on Morgan’s show. “I would say about a third of them were rebelling because they were concerned about the controversy surrounding Trump.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley and other Republican candidates ran against Trump in the Republican primaries but were unable to beat him in the election.

“This is the law of unintended consequences,” O’Leary explained. “When Alvin Bragg began denounceing Trump, within roughly 48 hours the entire Republican Party immediately rallied behind him.”

“I think history will prove it. [Bragg] We made Donald Trump our president again!,” O’Leary declared.
