Kim Kardashian Graduates from Law School
The news is in: Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school. She marked the end of her six-year educational journey with a backyard celebration in Beverly Hills.
Kardashian, 44, shared Instagram stories featuring her mentor, who congratulated her for completing the rigorous four-year legal apprenticeship during a surprise event. In a playful twist, she donned a graduation cap while celebrating with her children and a few close family members and friends.
During the ceremony, she wore a grey sweater, a leather miniskirt, black stockings, and white pumps. “You’re all on this journey with me,” she declared to those present.
Kardashian first expressed her interest in legal studies and judicial reform in 2019, and since then, she has been active in advocating for inmates, helping individuals like Julius Jones in their efforts for commutation.
Interestingly, Kardashian never completed a traditional college degree and instead opted for California’s legal programs, which allowed her to pursue her law aspirations.
Her mentor, Jessica Jackson, shared in one of the videos, “Six years ago, Kim joined this program with only a fierce desire to fight for justice.” As she celebrated, Kardashian was seen lifting her diploma and hugging Jackson, expressing the hard work and dedication it took to reach this point.
“There are no shortcuts when you’re doing this,” Jackson remarked about the intense amount of legal research Kardashian undertook over the years. In the midst of all this, she also managed to balance parenting her four children, running a business, filming reality shows, and even attending court.
Kardashian had previously passed the California “Baby Bar” exam after four attempts in December 2021, yet she still needs to pass the bar exam to practice law officially in California.
Photos from the celebratory luncheon captured moments like her young son, Poetry Sal, dressed in a sharp suit, inspired by his late grandfather, lawyer Robert Kardashian Sr. Meanwhile, her daughter, Chicago West, 7, sported a stylish pinstripe suit reminiscent of her mother’s recent look from Harvard Business School.
The event featured a unique touch as well—a placemat crafted from Kardashian’s own research flashcards, adding a personal flair to the celebration.
Khloe Kardashian expressed her pride, saying in a video posted on her Instagram, “I can’t believe this has been years in the making. I’m so proud of her. This is truly a remarkable achievement.”
