Kim Kardashian is looking ahead after recently revealing that she didn’t pass the California bar exam.
The reality TV star, 45, shared this news via her Instagram Story, stating that she took the exam on July 29 and 30.
“Well… I’m not a lawyer yet. I just play a well-dressed lawyer on TV,” she mentioned. She reflected on her six-year legal journey, expressing her commitment to becoming a lawyer, saying, “No shortcuts, no giving up, just more study and more determination.”
Kardashian thanked her supporters, remarking, “Failure isn’t a failure. It’s energy. I was so close to passing the exam that it gave me even more motivation. Let’s go!”
She started her legal career in 2018 through a California program that allows aspiring lawyers to learn through an apprenticeship rather than law school. In 2021, she announced that she had passed California’s “baby bar” exam after three attempts. She completed the six-year program earlier this year.
While she hasn’t officially become a lawyer yet, she plays one on TV in the Hulu series “All’s Fair.” Kardashian has acknowledged some negative critiques of the show but took it in stride, promoting it with enthusiasm on social media.
In a recent segment from Vanity Fair’s lie detector series, Kardashian shared that she had attempted to seek legal advice from ChatGPT, though she humorously noted that it often provided incorrect answers. “It always caused me to fail the test. Then I would get angry and yell,” she admitted, humorously stating that she viewed the AI as a “frenemy.”
Overall, her journey continues, full of challenges and laughter along the way.
