On Saturday, just two weeks after reports that Kanye West wasn't spending much time with his four children, the SKIMS founder shared an emotional quote on his Instagram Story.

“The sad thing about being a mother is that you are raising the one person who cannot live without you to be able to live without you,” the quote reads.

Kardashian, who shares daughter North, 11, son Saint, 8, daughter Chicago, 6, and son Psalm, 5, added a teary-eyed emoji to the post. .

The post comes shortly after a source revealed that West is “pretty much a single mom” as she “sadly doesn't really help with childcare.”

A source close to the reality TV star said, “Even though she has had help, it's still a tough job balancing and coordinating everything,” adding that her life has been disrupted by the ex-couple's children. He pointed out that it revolves around the center.

Kardashian previously opened up about the struggles of being a single mom on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast in May 2023, admitting that she sometimes cries herself to bed at night.

“Of course, it helps a lot if you have a nanny or a chef to help you with the cooking…but at the end of the day, all your kids want is you,” she said.

“The difficulties my children go through have absolutely nothing to do with how much help I have.”
