Kimora Lee Simmons Returns with New Reality Show

Kimora Lee Simmons is making a comeback after 14 years. The 50-year-old entrepreneur is set to launch her new reality series, “Kimora: Back in the Fabulous.”

In the show, viewers will get a glimpse into Simmons’ life as she balances being a mother to five children—Min, 25; Aoki, 23; Kenzo and Gary, both 16; and Wolf, 10, along with her “bonus son,” Jaden, 19. As the founder of Baby Phat, she’s not just a mom but also a successful businesswoman.

Simmons was recently seen mingling with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Kris Jenner’s lavish 70th birthday celebration. Reflecting on their encounter, she shared, “I saw them. We talked a bit. I see them sometimes.” She described the couple as “lovely,” but noted their fluctuating presence in Hollywood, saying they seem “a little bit in and a little bit out.”

“They’re further from Hollywood,” she joked, referencing their life in Montecito.

The birthday party sparked discussions after Markle requested Kim Kardashian to delete photos featuring her and Prince Harry, reportedly causing frustration for Kardashian, who was said to be “furious” over it. A palace insider commented that the situation highlighted how distanced Prince Harry has become from his family.

In a light-hearted addition, Simmons mentioned, “Some people seem to have gotten into trouble, but maybe it was too good to be true. I don’t really know.”

While she has avoided the drama, Simmons has sought guidance from Jenner, expressing gratitude for the help she has received regarding family and business. “Oh my god, I’ve learned so much from so many people. She’s always been so kind to me and my daughters,” she revealed.

About Jenner’s wisdom, Simmons said, “I always say I’m an unofficial momager. I certainly would have learned that from someone like her.”

On her new show, Simmons is eager to showcase her “unofficial momager” skills. She shared that her kids are accustomed to being in front of the camera, adding that while she wants them to enjoy the experience, she’s also open about her honest feelings. “If I’m not happy with a situation, I don’t call that person or situation by name. It’s my normal life, and they’re just taking away my normal life. If I think you’re bizarre, I’m going to say so.”

Addressing her past relationships, Simmons was married to Russell Simmons from 1998 until 2009 and then to Tim Riesner from 2014 to 2022. She emphasized her hard work and independence, stating, “There’s a misconception that you have to get something from someone else. I’ve been working since I was 10.”

When it comes to her ongoing career, Simmons is continually evolving. “We’re constantly expanding into different territories around the world, including Asia and Europe,” she remarked. “I’m always one step ahead of everyone else.”
