KJP storms out when Doocy fights back against her accusation of ‘misinformation’ for asking basic question: ‘Excuse me?!’

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre abruptly left the White House briefing room on Monday after a confrontation over the Biden administration's decision to send new funds to Lebanon.

Days after Hurricane Helen hit Appalachia, the State Department announced that it would send Approximately $157 million in “humanitarian aid” to Lebanon. At the same time, the United States was sending taxpayers' hard-earned money to the Middle East, President Joe Biden said. Sent Sent a letter to Congressional leaders urging them to replenish disaster relief funds.

“If he's getting money now for the people of Lebanon without Congress needing to come back, it's no secret that there isn't enough money right now for the people of North Carolina who need it.” What does that mean about our values?”

At a press conference Monday, FOX News senior correspondent Peter Doocy asked about this confusing juxtaposition.

“The government has the money to send to Lebanon without Congress coming back, but Congress needs to come back to approve the money to send to the people of North Carolina,” he said. “Do I have that right?” he asked.

However, Jean-Pierre did not answer the question.

Instead, she said the Biden administration “[s] “We're taking this very seriously,” he said, boasting about the financial aid already sent to affected areas, but also urging Congress to authorize more disaster funds while also sending taxpayer dollars to Lebanon. He did not say anything about Biden's request.

Doocy immediately pointed out this obvious problem using Biden's own words.

“But President Biden likes to say, 'Show me your budget and tell me what you value.'” If he's getting money for the people of Lebanon without any money, what does it say about his values that there isn't enough money right now for the people of North Carolina who need it? That’s not misinformation,” Doocy responded.

“The whole premise of your question is misinformation, sir,” Jean-Pierre retorted.

“Excuse me?!” Doocy replied. “Which part?”

Despite pleading guilty to the felony, Jean-Pierre could not explain how Doocy's questions were a “false alarm.” Instead, he said Biden's request is “nothing new” and that it is Congress's responsibility to provide more relief money to disaster-stricken areas.

“This is nothing new. Congress is coming together. We are providing millions of dollars in disaster relief. We are asking Congress to do the job it has always done,” Jean-Pierre said. Ta.

“I have read the letter that President Biden sent to Johnson, McConnell, Schumer and Jeffries. The president's letter is not misinformation. Can you agree?” Doocy responded.

“No, the way you ask the question is misinformation,” Jean-Pierre insisted.

“You can't call a question you don't like 'misinformation.' That's very unfair,” Doocy corrected.

When Jean-Pierre tried to clarify her position, confirming once again that she meant “additional funding would be needed,” Doocy attacked again.

“That's exactly what I just asked, and you said that was misinformation,” he said, referring to the additional funding.

In the end, Mr. Jean-Pierre called on Congress to return from recess to “do its job and provide additional support.” She then attacked Doocy personally, saying, “You may not want that, but that's okay,” before abruptly ending the press conference and walking out of the briefing room.
