The Knicks have returned to New York, and the Celtics are joining them.
The Knicks missed their opportunity to eliminate the defending champions, as Boston took control in the second half, winning 127-102 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
This time, the Celtics maintained their substantial leads into the second half.
They were impressive from beyond the arc for most of the game, even without their star player Jason Tatum.
Derrick White was the standout for the Celtics, scoring 34 points and giving the Knicks a tough time.
Josh Hart contributed 24 points, and Jalen Branson added 22 for the Knicks. However, both Branson and Karl-Anthony Towns faced significant foul issues throughout the game.
Branson eventually fouled out with 7:19 remaining, while the Knicks were trailing 106-85.
Game 6 will take place at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, putting additional pressure on the Knicks.
