Josh Hart Victim of Theft in NYC

Josh Hart, a well-liked player on the New York Knicks, unfortunately fell victim to a theft in New York City. In September, it was reported that his watch and bracelet, valued at an astonishing $185,000, were stolen.

According to sources, Hart, who resides in Westchester, was in Manhattan for an event about three months ago, staying at the Dominick Hotel when he realized his watch case was gone.

He had just checked into the hotel the day before, as he was attending an event in Central Park featuring notable figures like Ben Stiller and Eli Manning. He reported the theft the following Monday.

This incident isn’t isolated. In fact, just earlier this month, NFL player Shedule Sanders experienced a break-in at his home during his debut. Last season, quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes also faced similar invasions, and Mahomes’ teammate, Travis Kelce, even had a frightening moment during a game that day.

On another note, four Chileans have been apprehended for their involvement in the robbery targeting Hart.

This season, Hart is putting up decent numbers, averaging about 10.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists across 17 games. The Knicks are showing promise, being one of the favorites to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

Currently, New York stands with a record of 12-6, performing particularly well at home with a 9-1 record, while struggling slightly on the road at 3-5. They’re positioned fourth in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat.
