Knicks Kick Off Championship Defense Against 76ers

The Knicks are set to embark on their championship defense as they gear up to face the 76ers.

These teams will clash in Philadelphia on October 30th during the league’s inaugural NBA Cup group stage game, available on Amazon Prime.

Last year, the Knicks made a strong impression by winning the NBA Cup, overcoming the Spurs in the finals in Las Vegas. This victory foreshadowed their success in the NBA Finals, where they again defeated the Spurs.

Essentially, the Knicks will start their title defense against LeBron James and the emerging 76ers on October 20th at Madison Square Garden. Then, they’ll continue their Cup defense against the 76ers in that first group stage matchup ten days later.

The NBA Cup group stage schedule was unveiled recently.

The Knicks will battle the Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on November 13th, take on the Cavaliers at MSG on November 25th for a Thanksgiving Eve game, and host the Heat at MSG on November 27th for a Black Friday clash.

This matchup involving the 76ers, Pacers, and Heat will be shown nationally on Amazon Prime.

The NBA Cup Finals are slated for December 11th at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, a notable change as it’s the first time this event will be held outside of Las Vegas. Previously, the semifinals and finals had all occurred in Las Vegas.
