On Monday night, the New York Knicks won Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers 104-101 thanks to a wild stretch with about 41 seconds left in the game.
The Knicks swung the ball around the arc and lost the ball when Jalen Brunson tried to drive into the lane. Donte DiVincenzo won the crazy battle. The play held for a few more seconds, allowing Brunson to hit a 3-pointer near the corner.

The 76ers turned the ball over on an inbounds pass. DiVincenzo missed his first shot but made his second off an offensive rebound. Madison Square Garden was shaking.
“It was crazy, it was busy, but at that point we had nothing to lose,” Knicks guard Josh Hart said. “I had to be as physical as possible and it worked out well.”
Brunson scored 24 points in the game. Hart had 21 points and 15 rebounds. DiVincenzo added 19 points.
The Associated Press reported an interesting statistic about the Knicks’ victory.
According to Sportradar, this is the fourth time since the 1996-97 season that a team has won a playoff game with a lead of five points or more with 30 seconds remaining.

“We’re going to win this series,” Embiid said. “We know what we have to fix and we did a better job today so we’re going to fix it. But we’re the better team so we’re going to keep fighting.”
