Radio host Charlamagne Tha God on Tuesday criticized “liberals” who portrayed President Joe Biden's pardon of his son Hunter as a form of Democratic revenge against Republicans.

The pardon comes after a Delaware jury in June convicted Hunter of knowingly possessing a firearm while under the influence of drugs and making false statements on purchase documents, after Biden has been interfering with Americans for months. Mr. Hunter also faced nine charges related to allegations of failing to pay at least $1.4 million in taxes and filing false tax returns, to which he pleaded guilty.
Biden's statement The pardon announcement included claims that his son had been “excluded” from legal proceedings because of their relationship, a claim Charlamagne disputed on Monday. The radio host also argued Monday that Democrats lack the moral superiority over Republicans after the pardons.
“What I want is for Democrats to stop acting like they're on this moral high ground politically. They're showing us that they're not. When Biden leaves office. Things like skipping the preliminary process and Biden pardoning his son,” he said at the time. “Stop acting like you're all a pure political party and the Republican Party isn't.”
