South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem stands next to a passage from her upcoming book that says President Biden’s problem child, Commander, should “say hello” to Cricket, the 14-month-old dog she shot and killed. I scolded him.
Noem emphasized that the commander, who was removed from the White House last fall after dozens of biting incidents, posed safety concerns to staff and Secret Service agents.
“Joe Biden’s dog attacked 24 Secret Service agents. So before you decide whether to get a dog, decide how many people were attacked and that’s enough to cause dangerous injury.” Noem spoke on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “That’s an issue for which the president should take responsibility.”
The Republican governor dodged host Margaret Brennan’s question about whether he was saying “he should be shot.”
