SAN FRANCISCO — Super Bowl week is challenging, not just for the players, but also for their families.
Kristin Juszczyk, wife of 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk, has firsthand experience. Having been through two Super Bowls in recent years, she understands the pressure involved. When she was asked for advice for the Partners and Wives of the Patriots and Seahawks, Kristin shared some straightforward thoughts.
“As the spouse of someone in the Super Bowl, I really hope he can focus on me and the game,” she explained. “It’s important to minimize distractions. This game is, in many ways, the culmination of a lifelong dream for them.”
She emphasized that when Kyle is gearing up for such a crucial match, she wants him to concentrate solely on football, without any added worries.
Kyle agreed, acknowledging the support Kristin has provided during their previous Super Bowl experiences. He also shared his own advice with the Patriots and Seahawks players, telling them it’s perfectly fine if they’re not at their best.
“You know, you’ve been playing all season feeling off,” he said with a chuckle. “That’s just how it goes sometimes.”
After facing defeat against Seattle in the NFC Divisional Round, Kyle has been making appearances around Radio Row this week, promoting Invisalign alongside Kristin. Despite their busy schedule, both seemed excited to gear up for one more game in San Francisco this weekend.
