Kyle Cooke has accused West Wilson of damaging Amanda Batula’s “life and career” after she stepped away from “In the City.”
The “Summer House” star made sharp remarks under Wilson’s recent Instagram post, which was captured by Bravo and Cocktails prior to being deleted.
Cooke, 44, commented, “More like [you’re] a coke head that blew my ex’s life and career up,” in the now-removed post.
Page Six confirms Cooke’s comment was posted at 6:51 a.m. today, but it remains unclear if it was removed by Cooke or Wilson.
Representatives for Cooke, Batula, Wilson, and Bravo have not responded to requests for comments.
This biting commentary comes a day after news surfaced that Batula will not be returning for Season 2 of the “Summer House” spinoff, “In the City.”
A source indicated that Batula, initially part of the show, chose to step away because Bravo wouldn’t allow her to film with her boyfriend, Wilson.
Another source countered this, suggesting it was just not the right time for either of them to be back on the show.
Yet another source alleged that Bravo was unwilling to meet Batula’s salary expectations.
In January, ahead of the “Summer House” Season 10 launch, Batula and Cooke announced their separation after four years of marriage and over a decade of being together.
Just two months later, Batula and Wilson created a stir in the Bravo world by revealing their relationship, which led to a fallout with her former friend and “Summer House” co-star Ciara Miller.
This drama was discussed during the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion, where Miller referred to Batula in a less than flattering way.
Bravo chose to roll the cameras for both “In the City” and an unexpected bonus episode of “Summer House” to document the aftermath of this revelation.
Subsequently, Wilson was dropped from “Summer House” Season 11, and it has been confirmed that Batula also departed from the series.
Despite their exit from Bravo, Wilson seems to be pursuing his television career further.
In September, a report indicated that Wilson would join the cast of Netflix’s “Million Dollar Secret” Season 3, alongside several other notable personalities.
As for “In the City” Season 2, original cast members Cooke and Lindsay Hubbard have already started filming, along with two new couples and a new single participant.
However, Danielle Olivera with her boyfriend, Eoin Heavey, and Andrea Denver with his wife, Lexi Sundin, were not asked to return for the new season.
