Kylie Kelsey can’t help but laugh about her rise to fame.
Eagles center Jason Kelce’s wife, beloved by NFL fans for her relatable, down-to-earth personality, explains why she feels ‘a little guilty’ about her newfound celebrity status did.
“I feel a little guilty that people are so interested and invested in what I’m doing,” she said in the paper. “Good Morning America” interview on monday. “It’s like, ‘I’m trying to scrape applesauce off the couch.’
“This isn’t all that glamorous. That’s why it’s funny to me. I’m deeply grateful for the support.”
Kylie was referring to cleaning up after her and Jason’s three young daughters, Wyatt, Elliott, and Bennett.
The Kelce family’s rise to fame began ahead of Super Bowl LII, where Travis’ Chiefs defeated Jason’s Eagles 38-35 in Phoenix last February.
Amid rumors that the Super Bowl champion will retire after spending his entire 13-year NFL career in Philadelphia, the high school field hockey coach also weighed in on Kelce’s future.
“I think he’ll be successful in whatever he does, and I’m not just saying that because I’m his wife,” Kylie said. “I think that’s his personality.”
Kyrie, who said he supports whatever decision the All-Pro makes, joked that his skills on the field don’t transfer to the kitchen, where he makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for his three daughters. He said he only trusts him.
Jason said on his recent show, “New Heights,” that after fully processing the Eagles’ 32-9 loss to the Buccaneers in the wild-card round on Jan. 15, he decided to discuss future plans at the right time. He announced that he would make an announcement.
In the first part of the interview, which aired on Friday, Kyrie talked about Jason’s shirtless moment during the Bills-Chiefs divisional game on Jan. 21.
“He put his shirt back on and left the stadium,” she said, adding that Kelce had the “full Bills experience” while at Highmark Stadium, participating in the Bills Mafia tailgating. He added that he had hoped.

Kyrie and the more modest Jason appeared in Sunday’s AFC Championship game, where the Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 to earn a ticket to Super Bowl III.
The couple partied in a suite with Taylor Swift, who was dating Jason’s brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
A photo Kelly shared on Instagram showed Kylie and Swift together with her best friend Kelly Teller, wife of actor Miles Teller, and supermodel Cara Delevingne.
Jason shared an emotional moment with Travis on the field at M&T Bank Stadium, telling the Chiefs star to “finish this mother car.”
The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11th.
It will be Kansas City’s second straight Super Bowl appearance and the franchise’s fourth appearance in the big game in the past five seasons.
Kylie and Jason, Kylie and Travis’ parents Donna and Ed Kelsey, and Swift are also reportedly planning to be in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
