Giles' body was taken to Southern California Medical Center in Culver City just after 5 p.m.
Pearce and Osborne, who were masked, claimed to have driven the woman to the hospital in a black Toyota Prius without a license plate and found her “unconscious on the curb.”
Giles was dead when medical staff arrived at her body.
A toxicology report found that Giles had a deadly cocktail of cocaine, fentanyl, ketamine and the notorious date rape drug gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB) in his system at the time of his death.
After dropping off Giles' body, Pierce and Osborne allegedly dropped off a “partially covered” Cabrales vs. Arzola at a Kaiser Permanente in West Los Angeles.
Cabrales-Arzola remained in a coma for two weeks and was pronounced dead on November 30, 2021, the day before her 27th birthday, when her family removed life support.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office handed down the charges against Pierce and Osborne on July 5, 2022.

Photographer Michael Ansbach, who was initially arrested on suspicion of murder, took the stand as a witness and testified that he gave Pierce and two women fentanyl-laced drinks and cocaine.
