Lakers Announce Fourth Game Against Warriors in October

The Lakers were already scheduled to face the Warriors three times in October, but there’s now a fourth matchup on the calendar.

On October 30th, the Lakers will head to San Francisco to take on the Warriors as they kick off the group play for the NBA Cup.

This game will be part of Amazon Prime’s NBA Cup doubleheader, alongside a game featuring the 76ers and the defending champion Knicks, who will be headlined by LeBron James.

The NBA recently announced the Lakers’ complete schedule for their group play games:

October 30th: At Warriors.
November 6th: vs. Trail Blazers.
November 20th: vs. Kings.
November 27th: Game against Spurs.

Additionally, the Lakers will face the Warriors in a couple of preseason exhibitions. They will play at Chase Center on October 6th and then again in Las Vegas on October 13th, leading up to their regular-season opener against the Warriors on October 21st.

Group play for this year’s NBA Cup will take place from October 30th through November 27th, and the knockout rounds are scheduled for December 4th to 9th.

Excitingly, the NBA Cup Finals are set for December 11th, and this year’s event will be held at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis—the first time the finals will take place outside of Las Vegas, where they were held for the initial three years.
