Indian Lalit Patider set a world record for the most hairy face of men's hair after it was determined he had a shocking 201.72 hair per square centimeter of skin. According to the Guinness World Records.
The 18-year-old Patider was born in a very rare condition known as Wolf Syndrome. This causes excessive hair growth. Since the Middle Ages, Only 50 cases It's documented and has the opportunity to get one in a billion.
To evaluate him for the record, he traveled to Milan, Italy, where he visited a tricologist. He shaved a small section of his hair and measured whether he actually established a new mark. While in Italy, he also appeared on television shows.
When he learned he was being awarded a record, Patider said, “I am not speechless. I am so happy to have this recognition that I don't know what to say.”
Patider told the record book that his classmates were afraid of him when they started school, but then realized that their initial impressions were wrong.
“They were scared of me, but when they knew me and spoke to me, they realized I wasn't that different from them, and it was just outside that I looked different, but I wasn't different inside,” he said.
He celebrated his unique look on social media; 265,000 followers on Instagram and 108,000 on YouTube.
And when people suggest that he remove the hair from his face, he explains that he is happy with his appearance.
“I don't really have much to say to people about it. I tell them I like how I look and don't want to change my appearance,” he said.
