Ravens’ Lamar Jackson Set to Return Against Steelers
Lamar Jackson is gearing up to take the field this Sunday as the Baltimore Ravens face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a crucial final game of the season. A win could clinch a spot in the playoffs for the Ravens.
The Ravens quarterback previously missed the Week 17 game against the Green Bay Packers due to a back injury, which raised concerns about his availability for this pivotal matchup to decide the AFC North title. Things were a bit unclear until Thursday’s press conference.
When asked if he would be starting against the Steelers, Jackson confidently replied, “100 percent. I’m going there.” He expressed that he felt great at the moment.
Jackson missed last weekend’s action but returned to practice on Wednesday. He acknowledged it had been a while since he’d practiced a full week, as he struggled with a hamstring issue earlier in the season and has missed four games overall.
Jackson also commented on rumors of him quitting on the team, stating, “I’ve never quit a team. To be honest, I’ve never quit anything. I don’t know where that noise came from.”
A recent victory of 41-24 over the Packers, along with a 13-6 win by the Cleveland Browns against the Steelers, has put the Ravens in a position to make the playoffs, although a loss would be detrimental.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday night, making for an exciting evening for football fans.
