Ole Miss Football coach Lane Kiffin appeared to be highlighting his reunion with his ex-wife Leila following his divorce announcement in February 2016.
Kiffin, 49, caused a stir on the internet last Saturday. He posted photos of Leila on his Instagram stories, including house emojis and red and blue heart emojis. He also tagged Ole Miss football in the post.
Leila had been visiting her coach and “checking” her Mississippi home. Comes with sports illustrations.
On Tuesday, the story re-shared an excerpt from a Sports Illustration article published that day, suggesting that the pair were back together, adding a strange face emoji in monocle in one eye in X's.
“They rekindled their love since their divorce since 2016 after 12 years of marriage and their three children together,” read an excerpt from the SI reposted by Kiffin. “On Saturday, Lane killed his wife, who checked out the 'house' at Ole Miss, killing her sequin jeans. ”
Kiffin and Leila's eldest daughter, Laundry, 20, is a second-grader in Mississippi, and her 18-year-old daughter, Presley, will play volleyball at USC in the fall. His 17-year-old son Knox is enrolled in his senior year of soccer at Oxford High School.
Kiffin also responded to someone on Tuesday and said it was “amazing” that he and Leila had reconciliated.
“Amazing lane. Reunion with Layla & Knox is outweighing everything else you might achieve. Now you can travel together. Don't stop your followers.” I wrote it x.
Kiffin replied “Thank you,” adding a smiley emoji.
It came after Kiffin and Layla spent time together on vacation and appeared together in some of Landry's Tiktok videos last fall.
They sparked rumors of a settlement Travelling to New York City Last December.
Kiffin previously dated another woman and shared the relationship on social media in August 2023.
Kiffin Announced their divorce February 2016 when he was Alabama's offensive coordinator.
“After a lot of careful thought and consideration, Leila and I decided to divorce each other,” Kiffin told Fox Sports at the time. “We are fully committed to our children's futures as our number one priority. We will maintain a friendly relationship to respect each other as we raise these three amazing children. There will be no further comments and we appreciate your respect for the privacy of our families.”
