A large barge crashed into the Pelican Island Bridge in Texas on Wednesday, causing part of the bridge, including the railroad tracks, to collide with the barge, Fox 7 Austin reported.
Pelican Island is located north of Galveston and is connected to the city by a bridge.
Officials said the bridge was closed to traffic in both directions.
