A large Palestinian flag was displayed on the Brooklyn tower of the Williamsburg Bridge during Monday morning rush hour.
According to footage captured by a Citizen user, two people, possibly police officers, are seen walking towards the flag.
A patrol boat was also seen at the base of the Williamsburg Bridge, The Citizen reported.
According to the New York City Department of Transportation, the Brooklyn Tower on the Brooklyn Bridge is 310 feet tall.
The incident came just days after anti-Israel protesters descended on Columbia University and Barnard College on the first day of classes, resulting in two arrests.
The Williamsburg Bridge, which connects Manhattan and Brooklyn, was also the site of mass arrests last year during a “Close the Bridge for Palestine” rally.
