Larry David looks miserable watching UConn-Illinois

Larry David’s experience watching UW demolish Illinois 77-52 was akin to “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” It was pretty, pretty, pretty miserable.

“I was in Boston and a friend bought me a ticket.” David told CT Insider.

The HBO star sat in the front row to watch the Sweet 16 game at TD Garden on Saturday, but encountered some strange situations during the game.

According to a report in the Hartford CourantDavid was attending the game because he was scheduled to perform live in Boston.

“A Conversation with Larry David” is scheduled to take place on April 1st at MGM Music Hall in Fenway.

UW head coach Dan Hurley reacted to the news that David appeared upset.

“I’m the Larry David of college coaching with my antics and idiosyncrasies,” he said, according to the Hartford Courant. “That’s why I’m disappointed. …No, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ it’s a good show. ”

Actor Bill Murray also attended the game because his son Luke is a college assistant.

The defending champion Huskies will face the winner of Alabama vs. Clemson in the Final Four.
